We’re currently booking full custom builds into Spring 2026. If you have a project idea now, contact us — we may be able to fit you in or discuss partial builds in the meantime.

We primarily work on: • Mercedes Sprinter • Ford Transit • Dodge/Ram ProMaster We also take on partial conversions and smaller projects on a variety of other vehicles. We’re always excited to explore new ideas, so feel free to contact us to discuss how we can bring your project to life.

Most full van conversions take 3 to 5 months from start to finish, including design, 3D drawings, material sourcing, and build time. On average, we schedule around 3 months of shop time, depending on the size and complexity of the build.

All of our van conversions are fully custom and designed around your lifestyle and travel needs. That said, we do offer a popular starting package called our Base Camp Build, which is ideal for clients looking for a simple, functional foundation that can be upgraded over time. It includes wall and ceiling panelling, a basic electrical system, a roof vent, and a removable aluminum bed system. This option provides a streamlined, budget-friendly base while leaving plenty of flexibility to add features as your build evolves.

Yes, we offer installation services in our dedicated install bay, where we can professionally install components such as heaters, AC units, flares, windows, skylights, and electrical systems for your DIY build. We also provide select repair services. Our install bay tends to book up in advance, so we recommend contacting us early to schedule an appointment.

We don’t currently sell pre-converted vans, but we’re happy to help you source the right van to begin your custom conversion. Our team can guide you through the process and recommend options that best suit your build and budget.

We don’t supply the van for the build—clients bring their own vans to us for conversion. However, if you're looking for a vehicle, we can connect you with trusted sources and help you find the right van to start your project.

Build costs vary depending on the scope, layout, and features of each project, as every conversion is customized to meet your specific needs. Our Base Camp Build starts at $29,000 CAD, while our full custom builds typically start around $85,000 CAD, depending on the materials, systems, and upgrades you choose for your van. Yes, we’re happy to work with clients from the USA. The only requirement is that you provide your own van for us to complete the conversion. We’ll guide you through the process to make the experience as smooth as possible.

Yes — we stand behind the quality of every van we build. Each Pura Vida Vans conversion includes a 3-year workmanship warranty from the date of delivery. If a covered defect in workmanship arises during this period and a valid claim is submitted, we will repair the issue. Please note that individual components such as heaters, vents, windows, seating, and appliances are covered under their respective manufacturers’ warranties.
